COPING AFTER CRIME
The VOC Program can help victims for crimes such as:
Simplify Your Life
Make a list of of the things that are important, that you’re grateful for, and/or that you are responsible for.
PRACTICE SELF-LOVE!
Take care of your mind and body. Eat healthy, exercise, and keep a consistent sleeping pattern.
Ask for Help
Seek information, advice, and help from people and professionals you can trust.
Restore Order to Your Life
Create routines at work, school, or home. Stay busy with important tasks while putting aside time for relaxation.
Allow Yourself to Heal
Healing from trauma, grief, and loss is like healing after illness. Remember there are professionals to help with medical, mental health, financial, child-related, advocacy, and other issues.
ELIGIBILITY
The VOC intake must be completed within six months of the crime or within a reasonable time where the victim is still affected.
A victim cannot have participated in or been involved in committing the crime.
Applicants must cooperate with VOC advocate and ITCN staff.

APPLYING
FOR SERVICES
Contact the Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada and ask to speak with one of the advocates via phone or email, then complete an intake.
